Tom Moore

(Owner and General Manager)

A graduate of Western Michigan University with a BBA and Grand Valley State University with an MBA.  Tom lives in West Olive with his wife where they have raised their three children.  Tom's background is in banking, having worked for 20 years with First Michigan Bank Corporation, prior to becoming Huntington Bank Corporation.  He served in the areas of Operations, Accounting, Administrative Services and Strategic Planning. 

He is an avid race fan and works at all Indianapolis Motor Speedway events. Owner of his own business, Advanced Planning Resources, he provides strategic planning services to small- and medium-sized businesses and non-profit organizations.

He is an adjunct instructor at Davenport University and Northwood University where he teaches upper level management and accounting and finance. He is Chairman of the Board of the Sigma Pi Educational Foundation, a $5 million international non-profit organization providing scholarships and educational grants to Sigma Pi Fraternity International.

He is General Manager of the Holland Blast professional basketball team which plays in the International Basketball League.




Tyler Whitcomb was founder of the Grand Rapids Flight and has directed basketball operations for both the Flight and Blast teams. Named by the Grand Rapids Journal as a top 40 under 40, Tyler's IBL record is 82-45, 2 Final Four team finishes and a 2009 Eastern Division Championship. Tyler breaks down film for Synergy Sports Technology doing NBA, NBDL, College and International games. Tyler has also coached at the college and high school levels.

Teddy Davis

(Head Coach)

Teddy Davis served as Game Coach for the Blast's 15-4 2009 season. Teddy is Executive Director of Urban Youth Ministries, a Holland community youth ministry and serves as the Sports Chaplain for Holland community teams.
